Now that I've got both Quoth the Universe and First Time Outside published - both as e-books on several platforms as well as paperback on Amazon - I can now get to work on The Golden Blade. I am also getting the synopsis together for my epic fantasy novel which will be at least three volumes. My question is at what point do I publish the fantasy novels. I was thinking I would publish the first volume once I had the second one written as a first draft.
The Golden Blade needs to be rewritten but I have a good feeling about the first draft now that it is completed. If I follow the pattern, The Golden Blade will be over 100k words. What is funny is that there are a couple of people who want me to write a sequel to Keira and Logan's story from Quoth the Universe. My response is that they have to tell me the story and so far they have been silent. Cop out? Some people may think so but I don't like to force my characters to tell a story. The story then either doesn't work or it sounds forced. I have given life to my characters. If I have done a good job, then they are "alive." I am their storyteller, their narrator.
In the meantime, Life is twisting and turning. All grist for the mill.
I use this blog as a daily journal and will most likely be mainly thoughts and observations. I have been writing stories for forty years, all through school. I have written two novels which I hope will never see the light of day. I have two others which if completely rewritten may work. But it is the writing that is important.

First Time Outside
It is finally done and put to bed. First Time Outside is available on Smashwords.com and will soon be available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple, and a few other platforms.
Now to start work on the novel I wrote last November and get prepared to write the novel this November.
